Tickets for The Butterfly Conservatory may be purchased in advance through our online ticketing system.

Children (2-12):  $14.50
Seniors/Students with ID:  $19

Museum Plus One tickets include admission to the Museum and Rose Center for Earth and Space plus one special exhibition, IMAX film, or Hayden Planetarium Space Show.

By purchasing Museum Plus One tickets online, you agree to pay the full Museum Plus One admission plus a service charge per ticket.

Should you wish to pay less than the suggested Museum admission and attend a special exhibition, IMAX film, or Hayden Planetarium Space Show, you may do so by purchasing tickets at any admissions desk at the Museum and by adding $22 per adult, $12 per child, and $18 per senior or student to the amount you wish to pay for general admission.

Members also receive discounted admission to IMAX films, the Hayden Planetarium Space Show, and seasonal live animal exhibitions including Frogs: A Chorus of Colors, Lizards & Snakes: Alive!, and The Butterfly Conservatory, prices are as follows:

Child Members:  $8

Timed entrance to The Butterfly Conservatory is available every fifteen minutes from 10:15 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily. The last timed-entry to the exhibition is at 5:00 p.m.

The Museum is open daily, 10:00 a.m.—5:45 p.m.
The Museum is closed Thanksgiving and Christmas.
